Who are we ?

Tadé Méditerranée is a brand of skincare and well-being products inspired by Mediterranean traditions. With 30 years of experience, we offer natural and sustainable products, designed with authentic raw materials that are gentle on the skin and the environment. Tadé Méditerranée also consists of 30 employees in France and Syria, as well as numerous artisans with whom we work daily to create quality products.

What are your solidarity commitments ?

For over 8 years, Tadé has been supporting the NGO Baroudeurs de l'Espoir, which is dedicated to the education of children in the Middle East and provides assistance to displaced populations in Lebanon and Syria. We also support our local artisans to preserve their know-how, respect their traditions, and offer them fair, dignified, and ethical working conditions.

What types of products do you offer ?

Our promise? Beautiful, delicious, and above all, genuine products!
- Authentic Aleppo and Marseille soaps: solid, liquid, and scented, our unique and natural rituals for the hammam bath.
- Skincare and well-being products for the body: magic balms, powder masks, precious oils, hand and face creams and lotions... complete and essential routines!
- Candles and home fragrances: 5 scented stops in the Mediterranean to perfume your interiors.
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Black soap, washing soda crystals or pure baking soda, solid dish soap or Aleppo soap flakes for laundry, for a natural cleaning routine !

Are your products natural and environmentally friendly ?

Absolutely. Tadé places great importance on the naturalness of its products and is committed to being completely transparent about the origin of its ingredients and raw materials, down to the location of the production of each product and its processing. The majority of our products are certified organic or natural by reputable labels. Our formulas prioritize natural ingredients, without parabens, silicones, or sulfates, and most of them are also free from palm oil! We also commit to offering you packaging made from recycled or recyclable raw materials: eco-friendly.

Do your products suit all skin types ?

Yes, you will find in the BENEFITS category our selection of products specially designed to meet your needs, or for the care of every type of skin from the most sensitive to the oiliest and mature !

Where do Tadé products come from ?

Our Aleppo soaps are authentic, made using ancient methods by our Syrian master soap makers. Our artisanal decorative and lifestyle products are handmade in collaboration with local artisans, particularly in Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey. As for most of our bath and wellness products, they are mostly made in France or in countries around the Mediterranean region.

The different certifications of Tadé products indicate their quality, safety, and adherence to specific standards. These certifications may include organic certification, cruelty-free certification, fair trade certification, or others that guarantee the product's ethical production and environmental impact. ?

The certifications of our products guarantee their quality, their naturalness, and their respect for the environment.

Ecocert certification:
Ecocert is an organization that certifies our COSMOS products, so it is the COSMOS certification that guarantees all of its points + everything in bold should be added to this list:
- At least 10% of the ingredients are sourced from organic farming.
- Non-GMO (absence of GMOs)
- Recyclable packaging

COSMOS ORG:
No need to add "no animal testing" as it has been banned since 2013 anyway. You could maybe add it separately, but not in the category.
- Recycled or recyclable packaging

COSMOS NAT:
- Absence of elements derived from the petrochemical industry
- No plant ingredient obtained from genetically modified organisms (GMOs)
- Packaging in recyclable packaging

Indeed, the COSMOS certification already certifies certain points ( https://www.ecocert.com/fr-FR/certification/cosmetiques-biologiques-ou-naturels-cosmos ) , and COSMOS ORG or COSMOS NAT have additional "requirements": Cosmos Organic: the content of organic ingredients must make up a minimum of 95% of the total and at least 20% of the finished product. Ecodetergent Certification: Ecodetergent is a specific certification for ecological cleaning and maintenance products. At Tadé, this certification is particularly awarded to our natural liquid soaps and cleaners.
What she guarantees:
- Formulas made of natural and biodegradable ingredients.
- Environmentally friendly processes for a low ecological footprint.
- Eco-friendly packaging, promoting recycling.
- Absence of surfactants derived from petrochemistry.

What is the naturalness percentage of Tadé products' formulas ?

Most of our products have a naturalness rate of over 97%, confirming the purity and quality of the ingredients used.

Where can this information be found? The exact percentage of naturalness is indicated on the product pages of our website. You will also find it directly on the packaging of our products, for full transparency.

Some soaps can stain the soap dish or the edges of the sink. Is this normal ?

Some soaps, such as Aleppo soap (green/brown) or activated charcoal soap (black), may leave temporary marks on soap dishes or sinks due to their natural color.
Don't worry !

- Marks on surfaces: they can be easily erased with a damp sponge.
- Fabric: these natural soaps do not contain any synthetic dyes, therefore they do not permanently stain the laundry; one wash is enough to remove any residue from bath towels.

How long do Tadé scented candles burn for ?

Tadé scented candles offer a burning time of 30 to 40 hours, depending on how they are used.

How long do scented bouquets last ?

Tadé scented bouquets diffuse their fragrance for 3 to 5 weeks, depending on their use.

Tip: To intensify the scent, stir or flip the sticks regularly.
Durability: These bouquets are reusable indefinitely thanks to our available perfume refills and rattan sticks.

Is it possible to use all Tadé Art de Vivre products outdoors ?

Tadé Art de vivre products are designed to bring a touch of refinement both indoors and outdoors, but this depends on the materials used.

- Metalwork: Metalwork products, such as certain accessories and lanterns, are durable and can be used outdoors, but it is recommended to protect them from bad weather to preserve their appearance.

The delivery methods offered are:
- Colissimo with a delivery time of 48 to 72 hours from the order confirmation.
- Collection at the showroom 24 hours after order confirmation, at 274 Avenue de Paris, Parc d’Activités de Signes 83870 SIGNES from Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.
- Carrier, delivery time of 5 to 8 business days from the order confirmation.

What are your delivery terms ?

We offer several delivery options depending on the destination and the contents of your order.
Delivery in France is free for orders over 59€, excluding blown glass clusters and light products.
- DPD delivery to home or to a pick-up point in France and many European countries.
- Schenker delivery in France and many European countries for fragile products
- Delivery available via click and collect at our showroom in Signes (83870)

At which stage of the order do your offers and promo codes apply ?

As a general rule, we make your journey easier by activating the offer directly in your cart. If you have a promotional code, you can enter the code in the summary on the cart page during the online ordering process. Is it possible to modify or cancel an order once the confirmation email has been received ?
