At the origin of Tadé Méditerranée, lies the story of a love at first sight shared between Thaddée de Slizewicz, Adeline, and the Levantine Mediterranean. On its mythical shores, they discovered, together with the one who would become his wife, an art of beauty and care, inspired by the abundance of a generous nature. Our travelers have only one desire: to share this treasure and perpetuate this precious know-how, through a relationship of proximity, trust, and solidarity between local artisans and customers from the other shore.

The story of a meeting

From this encounter with the Levantine Mediterranean, cradle of Humanity steeped in traditions and crossroads of legendary civilizations, this passionate geographer of History brings back a mythical soap: Aleppo Soap®, made with olive oil and laurel, ancestor of the true Marseille soap. This is the first step of this company that has been developing, for almost thirty years, while respecting ancestral traditions.

Enchanted by the art of bathing in the oriental style, Tadé Pays du Levant® which will become Tadé Méditerranée, creates a cosmetic line focused on naturalness. It draws its inspiration from the warmth of the hammam, the expertise of local artisans whose manufacturing methods are inherited from Antiquity, and the nobility and quality of its raw materials.

From the citadel of Aleppo

The fascination for the Mediterranean world, the richness of its history, the beauty of its generous nature, the profusion of its scents, 30 years ago led to the founding of Tadé. In the wake of its flagship product, the legendary Aleppo Soap, collections have expanded to include Dead Sea salts and mud, authentic Moroccan "Kessé" washcloths, Anatolian cotton fabrics, Egyptian loofa sponges, pure olive oil soaps from Corfu, combined with a variety of oils and fragrances from all corners of the Mediterranean. Established since 1995 on both sides of this "Great Blue," with teams in Aleppo and Signes, near Marseille, Tadé continues to explore new craftsmanship and terroirs, along the shores of the "Mare Nostrum." The Mediterranean at Tadé, a passion that is a signature!
