Tadé drops by for a lemony snack in Miss Maggie's Kitchen!
To celebrate the return of spring, authenticity, sharing, and gourmet delights, Tadé Mediterranean had the joy of being invited into the charming kitchen of Héloïse Brion, the creator of Miss Maggie’s Kitchen.
Passionate, radiant, and creative, Héloïse embodies perfectly this simple and natural way of living, which she conveys both in her tastefully decorated home and in her flavorful dishes - inspiring us every day.
For a sunny snack, like an ode to the Levant dear to our hearts, she prepared a Lebanese orange and pistachio flan: a lemony, generous recipe, promising memories and emotions.
A suspended moment, captured in a video to be discovered in collaboration on our Instagram account. And to extend this journey, we share the recipe in this article!

LE FLAN LIBANAIS CITRONNÉ D'HÉLOISE
A true explosion of flavors, this lemon-infused flan revisited in its beautiful natural molds is a hymn to lemon, delicately enhanced by orange blossom. But let the artist rather reveal her secrets to you to recreate this marvelous snack at home!
3 questions to better understand the world of Miss Maggie's Kitchen
Between two citrus zest and pistachio bursts, Héloïse took the time to answer our questions around three values that we share: TRANSMISSION, NATURE, AND AUTHENTICITY.
Discover her testimony, as sparkling and inspiring as her recipe!

TRANSMISSION
Why is it a precious legacy?
Transmission is the act of passing on something living — knowledge, a gesture, an emotion — from one person to another. And for me, this takes on its full meaning in the kitchen.
It's a way to keep alive those we love, to tell a story through a dish. I find it very beautiful. It's never just a recipe that is passed on, but a memory, a moment, a way of being together. These are gestures learned almost without thinking, smells that remind us of a home, an afternoon, a voice.
Transmitting is also about creating a connection, an invisible yet strong thread between generations, between those who cook and those who taste, between the past and the present. It's a gentle and very powerful way to circulate what matters. And it's often in these simple moments, in a kitchen or around a table, that we understand how the ordinary can become precious.

AUTHENTICITY
Why is it essential in our time?
Today more than ever, we need authenticity. We are surrounded by perfect images, frenetic rhythms, and sometimes we drift a little from ourselves.
Being authentic is returning to the essentials. It is choosing to remain true to who we are, to what is meaningful to us. It is also daring to keep things simple. It is accepting imperfections, following our intuition, and not trying to fit into a mold.
In my kitchen as in my life, I seek this sincerity. Offering something that truly reflects me. I believe this is what creates trust and beautiful encounters.

NATURE
Why is it a crucial reference point in many fields?
Nature is an endless source of balance and inspiration. It centers me, reminding me that everything has its own pace, that each season has its light, its colors, its scents. It is what guides my way of cooking, creating, and living. Being outside— in a garden, in the forest, or by the sea— deeply soothes me.
Nature teaches me to listen, to be patient, to be simple. It reminds me of the importance of doing things at the right moment, without forcing.
In cooking, this translates to respecting the seasons, choosing local products, picked at the right time, which have flavor and a story. It's a discreet but essential reference that I try to bring into every corner of my daily life.
THANK YOU TO MISS MAGGIE'S KITCHEN!
