Black pumice stone, derived from basaltic rock, is denser, rougher, and harder. It allows for a more intense exfoliation, suitable for thick calluses and very rough areas. Traditionally used in hammams and steam baths, it is particularly effective for deep polishing and offers better durability.
White pumice stone is lighter, softer, and more porous, offering a gentle exfoliation ideal for sensitive skin and regular maintenance of feet, elbows, knees, and hands. Its action is more delicate, perfect for frequent use. However, it is less resistant to wear than the black stone.

Fragment of magma originating from the volcanic massifs of Anatolia, basaltic pumice stone, with its hardness and roughness, can eliminate calluses.
